week four - tuesday

[ During the day on Tuesday, Hannibal will be stopping by the Sheriff's Station, but with very deliberate timing. Though someone may have seen him go inside, he was also careful to try and avoid that so much as is possible. There was certainly no one in immediate view, which he supposes is good enough. He gives the Sheriff a brief nod, though it's with a light smile. ]

Hello, Sheriff. I was hoping to potentially claim that second reward, if you have a few minutes.

[ The Doctor's role isn't quite what Hannibal expected, so he looks surprised by that one more than the Madame and the Bartender. He would have guessed that it was a bit more literal: a chance at healing or protection. But the reality is more interesting, he has to admit.

Though naturally, the Doctor may surprise him more, but his interest is definitely more invested in the other two. He pauses and glances back over his shoulder in the direction of the saloon in a thoughtful consideration, but his question isn't directly related to their duties. ]

And I take it all of these roles are still alive?

[sheriffexe]

[ A nod. ]

One Coal Miner and one Bounty are dead. Rest are kickin' around here somewhere.

[sating]

[ He draws his hands out of his pockets to bring a hand to his mouth thoughtfully, and though he falls into a silence, it's not hard to guess what he might be thinking. The Madame and Bartender were clearly more of a concern to him. It would be a shame to have to be killed because of their interference instead of someone else's.

But ultimately, he turns back to the Sheriff and gives him a brief nod as he lowers his hand. ]

On second thought, for the sake of completeness— How would you describe the Deputy's role, Sheriff?

[ Obviously, Hannibal knows. But he would rather hear it from the Sheriff's mouth, he decides. It might make it easier to deny knowledge later, should he need to do so. ]

[ The Sheriff doesn't seem surprised by this. ]

The Deputy can choose to either make someone extra vulnerable by putting them in the stocks or protect them by putting them in jail over Thursday night. They also hunt the Bounties.

[ And now Hannibal can verbally copy and paste to his heart's content. As can I, hell yes ]

[ And it gives him other people to interestingly have conflict with. He had almost begun to miss the thrill of being pursued by someone like Jack Crawford, and though it's not quite the same, three people surely looking for him will do. Hannibal takes a step back towards the door, and unless the Sheriff has anything further to add, he'll leave with that thanks.
